Pensylvania-based firm to develop plant-based tuna products

A Pennsylvania-based company is capitalizing on the recent consumer trend towards plant-based and flexitarian eating, a goal for which it raised USD 5.5 million in funding from Stray Dog Capital.

This new change in taste shown by consumers who used to like fish such as tune partly stems from the concerns over the presence of mercury in this fish or over how dolphins sometimes get killed by being caught in tuna fishing nets.

Good Catch Foods decided to take advantage of this new trend and developed vegetarian snacks similar to..................................................
