as Norwegian seafood consumption falls 15%
The Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) said it intends to play its part in improving the country's per capita seafood consumption, after it announced said consumption fell 15% in 2017.
"It's sensational that an average eighth grader today eats more candy than fish, and almost four times as much red meat as seafood. The reason for the decline in seafood consumption is compounded," said Renate Larsen, CEO of the NSC.
