Clearwater shifts live lobster strategy

Clearwater Seafoods is rolling out a new strategy for its live lobster business this year after failing to grow the operation profitably for the first time last year.

“The mantra for 2017 is fewer, bigger, better,” CEO Ian Smith told callers during the company’s recent 2016 financial results conference call, referring to live lobster.
