 Build local feed mill to spare fish farmers high costs - Indonesia

Suhana, a marine biologist at the Bogor Institute of Agriculture (IPB) in Indonesia, said feed prices had risen to Rp 256,000 ($27) per 50-kilogram bag, below the break-even level for farmers.
“If the price is more than Rp 200,000 ($21.40) per bag, fish farmers will lose,” Suhana said, adding that feed accounted for 80% of production costs.
